of springfield. our next camera takes us to 270 at democracy boulevard. now to the news desk. >> thank you. >>> we are a few hours away from a report to be released on last week's fire in northwest. >> neighbors are worried because of low water pressure made a bad fire worse. pamela brown is live with more. >> when firefighters arrived on july 29 and hooked up to the fire hydrants, there was a big drop in water pressure and at one. the water ran dry. they had to go five blocks to get water. the fire on july 29 swept through the home of peggy cooper cafritz has left neighbors with a lot of what ifs. fire officials point to a lack of water pressure as their reason for taking nearly two hours to battle the flames. if they did not waste time bringing water in, could the home have been salvaged? >> it is a definite concern. >> neighbors say a lack of water pressure has been a problem. it is common in higher elevations. they will work closely to figure out what happened. >> we have people testing the system right now. we are in investigation mode. >> this has been a concern for the past couple o

. these glitches have riders concerned. >> yeah, one episode already, so they need to let us know so we have a righto choose to get on the train or not. >> this is part of a daily life going to and from work, and we should be able to make those decisions on how to get there. >> metro says the two not are not related. the ntsb says investigators are looking into the june 22 crash and learned about the march incident only last week. and a little known local channel called the tristate oversight committee notified investigators about the march incident. that panel has primary oversight beverage safety, but "the washington post" reports that panel has no direct regulatory authority and cannot order metro to make the changes, and it apparently lacks the resources. "the post" says no federal agency is authorized to regulate metro operations. and meanwhile, d.c. police are investigating what led up to a double shooting overnight. it happened just after 11:00 last night in the 400 block of n street in northwest. policeere called to the scene and found two teens suffering from gunshot wounds. their i

late for you. matt brock live in alexandria to tell us why. good morning to you, matt. >> good morning, doug, greta. listen, the dealers have said all along they didn't even think after the program got an extra $2 billion that this money would last until labor day, and it turns out they were right. we have an official deadline. the department of transportation has said you have to get the deal done by monday at 8:00. they've already marked up 457,000 cars into this program. i guess you could say marked them down with savings of about $4,500, it a car, and the federal government has spent nearly $2 billion total. they expect the rest of that will certainly run out by monday, about a billion less. but you know, some car dealerships are already saying we're not even going to go till monday, we're cutting off now. >> if we carry over into the weekend, we may have trouble, so we're going to end it toign. ht >> that's a car dealership here in alexandria. toyota dealerships. the concern, of course, is getting paid, and it has been a concern for many dealers all along about getting the reimbur
